Scar Camouflage & Correction
For scars that did not heal as you hoped, we offer a considered range of treatments to soften, refine and disguise. From semi‑permanent camouflage tattooing to collagen‑led skin renewal, each plan is built around your skin and your goals.

Method One
Semi‑Permanent Camouflage Tattooing
Using fine medical tattooing techniques, pigment is matched to your natural skin tone and worked into the scar to blend it with the surrounding area. This is particularly suited to scars that have healed pale, uneven or with a loss of colour.
Treatment is gradual and built up over sessions, so the result settles softly and naturally rather than appearing in a single step.
Method Two
Microneedling with PRP
Controlled micro‑channels are created across the scar to prompt the skin's own repair response, while Platelet Rich Plasma is introduced to support healing and remodelling. A small sample of your own blood is processed to concentrate its natural growth factors, which are then reintroduced to the treatment area.
Over a course of treatments this can help improve the texture, firmness and overall appearance of raised or indented scarring. Because it draws on your own biology, the treatment is gentle and well tolerated.
Method Three
Laser
Targeted laser treatment can address the colour and texture of a scar, helping to reduce redness or pigmentation and resurface uneven skin. The approach is tailored to your scar type and skin, and may form part of a wider correction plan.
Aftercare

We stock the most effective scar dressings and treatments to accelerate and promote the healing stage, for the best possible outcome. Recommended and supplied as part of your plan, so your scar has the support it needs from the very start.
Questions
Scar camouflage in Belfast
Where can I get scar camouflage treatment in Belfast?+
All scar camouflage and correction treatments are delivered at our clinic on Malone Road, Belfast, by practitioners trained in medical tattooing, microneedling with PRP and laser.
Can scar tattooing really hide a surgical or C section scar?+
Semi permanent camouflage tattooing matches pigment to your natural skin tone to blend pale, uneven or hypopigmented scars, including surgical, C section and self harm scarring. Results are built up gradually over several sessions for a soft, natural finish.
Is microneedling with PRP suitable for raised or indented scars?+
Yes. Microneedling with PRP can improve texture, firmness and appearance of both raised and indented scars by stimulating your own healing response with growth factors from your blood.
How many sessions will I need?+
Most camouflage tattooing plans need 2 to 4 sessions, while microneedling and laser are typically delivered as a course of 3 to 6. Your plan is tailored at your consultation.
Is the treatment painful?+
Topical anaesthetic is used for camouflage tattooing and microneedling, and most patients describe the sensation as very tolerable. Laser settings are chosen for comfort as well as result.
